Tim Schultz

Tim and Esther have been married for 36 years and have 3 sons, Jonathan, Joel, and Michael. Both Tim and Esther grew up as missionary kids: Tim in Nigeria, and Esther in Japan. Tim and Esther have been in ministry for over 30 years with the Baptists, YWAM, the Vineyard, World Vision, and now CBS. Tim has been involved in church planting, pastoring pastors, leadership coaching, community development in the developing world, and building bridges with the Church both here in Canada and in Europe, Africa, Asia, New Zealand, and Australia. Tim completed his Masters degree from St. Stephen’s University in 2006 where he wrote his thesis called “Forming Healthy Missional Communities in a Postmodern Culture: The Divine Dance of Being and Doing Church”. Tim and Esther helped pioneer and are a part of a network of simple, easily reproducible missional communities called Mosaic Network based in Calgary. The dream of the Mosaic is our desire to live out the unity with diversity as demonstrated in the circle dance of the Trinity. Tim joined the Canadian Bible Society in March 2020 to be the Regional Director for the Prairie Provinces and NWT. It is a joy for Tim to serve and connect with all the expressions of the Church here in Canada.
